Get ready for SpaceRunner version 4!

By December 2021, we will be migrating all our projects to the latest version of SpaceRunner. This page contains everything you need to know about the process.

Why are we migrating?

SpaceRunner version 3 is reaching its end-of-life and will no longer be available from December 2021. We are excited to start working with the latest version of the software, SpaceRunner version 4, which comes packed with loads of new features.

How does it impact me?

We will carry out all migration activities during non-business hours over a weekend, so we expect the impact to be minimal. The migration will begin at 5.00 pm PST on a Friday and be complete by 8.00 am the following Monday. The diagram below outlines what the process for migrating SpaceRunner looks like for a Kaiser Permanente project.

Jorge Sanchez (who is coordinating the SpaceRunner migration for KP projects) will email you the migration-related details specific to your project. The email will contain information about the dates, whom to contact, as well as the pre-migration checklist activities that require your attention.

Will I receive training on how to use SpaceRunner version 4?

Yes, as outlined in the diagram above, we will provide training for all users of SpaceRunner version 4. You will receive an email inviting you to a training/warm handoff.
